WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that to effectively fight global challenges and deliver global solutions that put people and the planet first, citizens of the world must be organized and informed on a global level, as well as willing and able to take action personally and politically to drive change.
With many indicators of social, economic, and health progress now backsliding, it’s clear that we as citizens of the world must unite to reclaim civic space and vigorously defend the interests of people and the planet.
WHAT WE DO
We connect, coordinate, equip, and mobilize global citizens who give a shit to take meaningful action both personally and politically to drive positive change for people and the planet. We do this by running targeted campaigns focused on global issues to move governments, corporations, institutions, and citizens towards sustainable global solutions for a healthier world for all. While our campaigns change with time and the need, demand, or opportunity of the moment and movement, we always strive to:
We educate and inform global citizens about global issues and solutions.
We equip and mobilize Global Sentinels to take impactful action to improve world health and create more civic space for citizens of the world.
We connect and engage with Global Sentinels to build a movement for community, civic engagement, and positive social change.
We generate political will and resources for community led and owned change initiatives and solutions.
OUR ROADMAP FOR ACTION
A roadmap for peace and prosperity for people and the planet already exists in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. As such, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) typically guide our action. We ultimately work to secure progress towards, and accountability against the SDGs.

Our approach always makes the connection between local and global politics, practices, and lived experience.

Our model for building a movement of Global Sentinels is dynamic, creative, and underpinned by our knowledge that everyone can create positive change in the world.
OUR FOUNDER
Dr. Robyn Christine Waite has long self identified as a global citizen who gives a shit, and her academic and work trajectories show it. She studied and has solely worked in the global health and international development space.
